A brief description of the Project

The conflict that has affected the country for many years has led Ivory Coast to an unprecedented socio-political crisis, culminating in a veritable civil war that has brought economic activity to a standstill for several months and caused significant human and economic damage. Particularly in the city of Adzopé, the target area of this program. In the water sector, one of the major consequences of this long crisis has been the deterioration of drinking water production and distribution facilities, particularly in the precarious districts of Adzopé. This problem causes a lot of diseases (diarrhea, typhoid fever, eye diseases amoebic dysentery).

This projects addresses problems like lack of drinking water and sanitation and hygiene. They plan to dig a borewell, store the drinking wáter in overhead tank and distribute to the people through taps.
